Spring Family Picnic
Treats of Taupō joins the Taupō Community Gardens School holiday event for the kids!
A family BYO picnic event to celebrate the start of Spring! All welcome, please register so we can gauge numbers.
Enjoy our garden space for the afternoon! We will also have mini workshops set up so children (and adults!!) can learn how to make a planter out of repurposed materials and plant a flower to take home!

Join Didi for an incredible one off workshop to make your own pumice bowl! Let your creativity flow whilst enjoying canapes by the talented team at 2 times Hatted Embra. This is sure to sell out!

For $75, get entry to this one off 2 hour dance party with non-stop vibes (and non stop deliciousness!).
With delicious healthy treats and nibbles, smoothies flowing whilst the tunes are pumping. This fitness focused party is going to be an epic event the whole whanau can enjoy!
Alongside the fabulous food and drinks, make sure you’ve got your dancing shoes on as we’ll have some epic instructors from Empower Fitness taking us through some of their favourite moves and groves. We can’t wait!!
5 Mile Distilling Tasting Workshop
Join the team at 5 Mile Distilling, Taupo’s very own award-winning distillery, for exclusive access to a behind the scenes tour and tasting event. Try the range, enjoy drinks (available for purchase), get to understand the process and meet the maker, all alongside some delicious food platters.

Morning Tea On The Lake!
Climb aboard for a New Zealand Themed morning tea on Lake Taupo! Take in the views of this beautiful town we call home with mimosa in hand and some delicious New Zealand themes treats along the way. Local ingredients, gorgeous views, great people!
This event is an epic collaboration between two awesome local businesses, Taupo Sailing Adventures and Cella Catering. Come and support local, eat local and sail local!
Tacos on the Terrace
We'll be serving up all you can eat tacos, tostadas & nachos from our catering partner Yum Food Company, with a range of drinks, cocktail specials and non-alcoholic options available from the bar. The lawn games and couches will be out so come along with friends and family for a relaxed afternoon out at Ohakuri Rise.
